- Pictures with Santa, Reading Public Museum: Join Museum Educators and other community partners as we celebrate Christmas and other cultural celebrations of winter. Families will be able to visit and get their pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. As they wait in line and explore the museum, children will receive crafts to take home, in addition to coupons and snacks provided by our sponsors. We also invite community groups who participate in our Yuletide Around the World tree displays to talk about unique holiday traditions from around the world. Registration for this event is required.
- Santa Breakfast, Island Pizza: Santa Clause is coming to town!!! Stop in for brunch and a story with Santa & Mrs Clause from 11-3 on November 30th! Pets are welcome!
- Santa and Reindeer Photoshoot, Swim Club at GVCC: Santa is coming to town AND brining his reindeer! Saturday November 9th! At ‘The Swim Club at GVCC’ It will be a rain or shine event, the photoshoot area is 100% out of the elements but will NOT be heated to keep both Santa and our reindeer happy. They do live in the North Pole after all! Sessions will be 10 minutes and come with 5 professionally retouched images. After the 10 minutes it’s a hard stop. I do book back to back all day so we can not extend times. *Don’t worry we get plenty of screamers with Santa, he’s a great sport about it and we do a “naughty list” each year!* Yes it will be my regular Santa with the reindeer! Because he’s THE REAL DEAL and the best Santa! Santa and Reindeer will only be ONE DAY. Do not wait! This will go SO fast! Yes Santa is giving out cookies again this year!
- Cookies & Photos with Santa, RE/MAX of Reading: Join me at RE/MAX of Reading to help Santa & I decorate (and eat) some Christmas cookies. All of the supplies will be provided. There will be a backdrop for photos with Santa, as well. Stop by for a bit or stay awhile. Feel free to bring kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, heck, anyone who would enjoy a cookie or two. This is a FREE event, but RSVP’s are required.
- Santa’s Polar Bear Express, Colebrookdale Railroad Company: Join Santa on a magical adventure into Christmas past on one of the most beautiful train journeys through the Secret Valley. On board the train, Santa will visit each car, bringing a gift for every child. Children will have an opportunity to give their Christmas letter to him and receive a Colebrookdale Railroad-themed coloring book (we even provide the crayons)! The Victorian charm of our heated coaches creates Christmas memories to last a lifetime. Arrive early to receive complimentary hot cocoa and Christmas cookies in our beautifully decorated train yard before you board!
No meals are served on this excursion as it is a 1-hour round trip departing from and arriving in Boyertown, PA. However, our à la carte snack and beverage menu is available for purchasing drinks and snacks in all cars.
- Santa’s Workshop Kids Christmas Shopping Experience, Mayfield on Noble: A part of our store will be turned into a magical workshop just for kids to do all of their holiday shopping. Santa’s helpers will be available to help them shop and stay on budget while selecting gifts available from our vendors at $10 and under. There will be a wrapping station available for them to wrap all of their purchases as well as a hot cocoa bar, because who doesn’t need some hot cocoa to set the holiday shopping mood!! And don’t forget to visit with Santa and snap some photos before leaving as well.
- Santa Meet-and-Greet, Reading Fire Museum: For the month of December the Wanamaker Room is decorated for Christmas. Each year Santa visits the museum, kids love to have their picture taken and to see the fire trucks. 2024 dates will be announced later.
- Santa’s Merry Movement Day, Fit4Mom Reading at Grace Church: Join us for a festive day of fitness, family, and holiday cheer at our Santa’s Merry Movement: Family Fitness and Festivities. This special holiday gathering is designed for families of all ages, and includes opportunities for sensory-friendly Santa photos, a workout with FIT4MOM, and plenty of local vendors.
- Santa Clause Special, Reading Blue Mountain & Northern Railroad: Santa and his train will be visiting Reading this holiday season! Enjoy listening to holiday music while riding in our toasty warm coaches as Santa visits each child and the young at heart. Get your cameras ready to capture that special moment you will cherish forever!
- The “Big Guy’s House, Christmas on the Mountain: Santa will visit the Mountain nightly. For a $5.00 donation you will receive a photo and unlimited pictures with your device.
Santa’s Wonderland, Cabela’s: Get ready for the holiday season with Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s annual Santa’s Wonderland experience! Bring your family to your local Cabela’s store to join over two million kids and families in taking a photo with Santa. Enjoy a complimentary 4×6 photo with Santa and a shareable video of your visit. Reservations are highly recommended.

- Pictures with Santa, Chris Timmons Team: Santa is coming to town! Please join us for free pictures with Santa! (Bring your camera/phone) There will be a coloring contest and light refreshments.
- Breakfast with Santa, Table Life Church: Join us for a Saturday morning of Christmas fun at Table Life Church! We will have crafts, a pancake breakfast, and photos with Santa– all FREE! We’re a church that loves our community and wants everyone to know they’re invited to God’s table.
All attendees must register for a time slot, while they last. - Visit Santa, The Event Cafe: Join us at The Event Cafe (206 3rd St. New Cumberland) for a magical day of holiday cheer! We’re excited to sponsor a FREE Visit with Santa on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 10am-2pm! This is a wonderful opportunity for families to capture precious moments with Santa and take photos for your Christmas cards.
As we celebrate the season of giving, all proceeds from this event will benefit Carly’s Hope, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation dedicated to supporting families navigating the adoption process. Carly’s Hope aims to ease the financial burdens associated with adoption, providing grants for essential services such as legal fees and home studies, ensuring every child has a loving home. A small monetary donation to Carly’s Hope is welcome but not required.

- Santa’s Workshop, Stuart Community Center: Come enjoy Santa’s Workshop on the SATURDAY, DECEMBER 21st with Carlisle Parks and Recreation & DG Foundations Learning Park!
Children ages 1-10 years will have the opportunity to meet Kringle & Krampus and get a picture with them, write Santa a letter (or bring one with a return address), decorate sugar cookies, make a bird feeder, and decorate an ornament donated by Create-A-Palooza! PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE.
**At 9:30am start time, children can make their way to Santa’s sleigh, where one of the elves will be reading a story to kick off the event. Santa will make his appearance and stations will open up.
- GUY’S Misfit Toys Christmas Party, Carlisle First Church of God: Sign up for our 4th Annual GUY’S Misfit Toys Christmas party. Children of Parent’s Lost, Struggling or in Recovery Christmas Party. - Holly Jolly Jubilee, Carlisle Historic District: Join us on the Town Square in downtown Carlisle for our Holly Jolly Jubilee on Saturday, December 7th
Visit with Santa beginning at 3pm and stay for the tree-lighting ceremony which concludes the event at 6pm.There will be tons of free activities for kids including balloon-twisting, face painting, caricature drawings, craft projects and magic tricks. There will also be free hot chocolate, courtesy of Members 1st, and choir members from the First United Church of Christ will lead in festive caroling.
Our friends at Benchfield Farms will be offering wagon rides during the event. Pickups will be at the intersection of Courthouse Avenue and South Hanover Street.

- Santa & Friends on the Farm, Paulus Farm Market: Join us for a fun & festive day filled with friendly Christmas characters, a craft, snacks, hayrides & farm animals.
A ticket is required for all ages, adults & children. Handheld infants do not need a ticket. The event is not included with Season pass membership; please purchase separate tickets if you wish to attend.

No refunds. This is an outdoor event. In the case of mildly inclement weather, we will hold the event in the covered greenhouses and barn. - Santa’s Arrival, Capital City Mall: Get ready to welcome Santa in style! Join us at the Main Entrance near DSW and Forever 21 on Saturday, November 11th at 10 AM as Santa makes his grand entrance atop a fire engine with lights and sirens, courtesy of the Lower Allen Fire Department!
He’ll be arriving with some of his friends to kick off the holiday season! Following Santa’s arrival, head to Center Court for festive fun! Join us for a fun, entertainment, and holiday cheer-filled morning.

- Harrisburg Holiday Parade: The City of Harrisburg will present the annual Cargill Holiday Parade in Downtown Harrisburg on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10am. The parade will feature giant parade balloons, marching band and dance team performances, decorated floats, characters, Santa Claus and more. The parade takes place on Front and 2nd Streets from Market to North. After the parade, head to Strawberry Square to meet Santa, enjoy FREE hot chocolate and cookies (while supplies last) and find out the marching band, dance team, and Best in Theme winners. Marching bands are awarded $500 for 1st place, $300 for 2nd place and $200 for 3rd place. The top three dance/step/drill teams receive $150 for first place, $100 for 2nd place, and $50 for 3rd place along with trophies. The Best in Theme winner receives a $100 Amazon gift card.
- Pennsylvania Christmas and Gift Show, Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex: Don’t forget to snap a picture with the jolly fellow with your family or group! Santaland will be in the North Hall each day Wednesday thru Saturday, 11am-5pm and Sunday 11am-3pm and will benefit the Four Diamonds Fund. Scan the QR code while you’re in line to help make a difference this holiday season.
- Christmas Candy Lane, Hersheypark: Did you know Santa and all 9 of his reindeer make a special stop at Hersheypark Christmas Candylane event each year? Plus, enjoy an up-close look at your favorite reindeer, including Rudolph, at Santa’s Reindeer Stables Presented by Stroehmann. Visit Santa through December 24 before he makes his way back to the North Pole.
- Light Up Hershey Holiday Celebration, Chocolate Town Square: Kick off the holiday season with the annual tree lighting and the arrival of Santa, Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in ChocolateTown Square Park.
- Village of Lights, Historic Acres with Hershey: Come and celebrate the holiday season in our walk-through attraction, offering enchanting, colorful light displays in a Village atmosphere. The radiant glow, holiday décor, and crackling open-air fire add to the festive atmosphere. Holiday gifts will be available in the Village Shoppe. Our Town Hall Cafe will offer snacks and beverages to enjoy along your colorful journey!
The walking path is grass and can be wet, so wear appropriate footwear!

- Christmas Trains, Strasburg Railroad: A Christmas tradition for 65 years continues at the historic Strasburg Rail Road. Choose from Santa’s Paradise Express, Night Before Christmas Train, or Santa Claus Limited. You can also have a Christmas Feast with a special visit by Mrs. Claus.
- Winter Wonderland, Dutch Wonderland, November 16th – January 1st: Meet the big man himself in true Dutch Wonderland style! Journey to Santa’s cabin and take a one-of-a-kind photo in the little bit of North Pole right here at the Kingdom. - Tree Lighting and Santa’s Arrival, Tanger Outlets: Please join us for our 7th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Event. Kick off your holiday shopping, enjoy a complimentary cup of hot cocoa, sing along with Santa, dance with the elves, and hear the beautiful Victorian Carolers sing the songs of the season. Then at 6:15 PM, help Santa as he lights our Holiday Tree! We cannot wait to celebrate the start of the holiday season with you!
- Pancakes and Pajamas, Gigi’s Playhouse: We encourage your whole family to wear pajamas and come out for a lot of fun for all ages! There will be a visit from Santa and each participant with Down syndrome of any age and immediate siblings under 18 will receive a gift from Santa. There will be games, activities, crafts, and fun! - Strasburg Community Tree Lighting, Downtown Strasburg: This event will feature Santa arriving on a Strasburg Fire Company truck, free hot cocoa & cookies, caroling, ornament making station, cookie decorating station, & more. If you don’t have time for dinner beforehand, food will be available for purchase from Robino’s food truck.
- Tree Lighting and Santa’s Arrival, Mainspring of Ephrata: Our beloved Ephrata tradition of Santa’s arrival and tree lighting continues on Black Friday, November 29, 2024, from 5:30-8 PM! Join us for an evening filled with joy, as we create precious memories with family and friends. This is your chance to see Belsnickel in person!
- Santa Express at Stone Gables Estate: Treat yourself and your loved ones to a Festive and narrated train excursion through the center of Stone Gables Estate on the fully decorated Harrisburg, Lincoln & Lancaster Railroad. Sing along with your favorite Christmas tunes as they are broadcast throughout the passenger coaches as your make your way through Stone Gables Estate. Watch the eyes of children and adults light up when St. Nick makes a surprise visit and hands each child a treat, pictures are welcome! Sneak a peek a stop at Santa’s Toy Shop in the Engine House, beautifully decorated for Christmas.
- Lancaster Mayor’s Tree Lighting, Downtown Lancaster: Revel in the magic of the season as the Mayor’s Tree Lighting, a cherished holiday tradition, makes its triumphant return. Gather with excitement as Santa himself graces the event, illuminating the hearts of young and old alike. Delight in the enchantment of the tree lighting ceremony and savor the captivating live entertainment that adds a symphony of joy to this festive occasion.
- Lititz Christmas in the Park, Lititz Springs Park: Join us for the 30th anniversary of Christmas in the Park! This event will be held outdoors at the band shell and will feature local performers, a carol sing with candle lighting and the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree. Food vendors and restrooms on site. Rain date will be Saturday, December 7th at 6:30pm.
- Santa Visit in Elizabethtown, The Firehouse Library: Join us for a special visit with Santa this year! Enter through The Fancy Unicorn and travel upstairs to The Firehouse Library where you’ll be transported to the North Pole and get to visit with Santa! Photo opportunities, Candy canes, Cocoa and a Christmas craft is also available for the kiddos in our cozy Christmas space. *1 Ticket per family please. *Accessible & Sensory Friendly Visits Available, Please inquire!
- Santa Comes to Millersville, Millersville Business Association: Music, crafts, cookies, vendors, food trucks, balloons and of course – SANTA!!!! 225 children will receive a fun filled stocking from Santa.
- Marietta Tree Lighting with Mr & Mrs Santa Claus, Downtown Marietta: Join us at the intersection of Waterford Avenue and Walnut Street on the evening of November 25th for the annual Marietta Tree Lighting. Families will have a chance to greet Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus, have a photo opportunity or two, and hand-deliver their personal letters to Santa. Children that write letters to Santa will receive a jingle bell charm that rings with the spirit of the season.

- Photos with Santa, Annville Train Station: Bring your family, friends, kids and pets out for a picture with Santa! While you’re there drop off your letter to Santa, enter to win a raffle basket, or make a donation to Celebrate! Annville.

- Santa Express, Northern Central Railway: Our train is decked out for the festive season, bringing holiday cheer, no matter your age. Boarding at the beautiful Historic New Freedom Train Station, you will ride with Kris Kringle to Glen Rock. Each child will have an opportunity to visit with Santa, who will have a special gift for kids on the “NICE” list. - Santa Claus Express, Stewartstown Railroad Company: We invite you to take a train ride with the big guy himself, Santa Claus! Our 1920 Passenger coach will be decorated for the season. Every family will have time to visit with Santa. Take your own photos at no extra charge. Every child will receive a treat from Santa. Children under 2 are free but require a ticket. This train ride is about 50-60 minutes long. Times listed are departure times. Please arrive 30 minutes early to pick up your ticket. Our train rides are rain or shine!
- Holiday Pops Spectacular, York Symphony: It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The York Symphony Orchestra and Chorus kicks off your holiday season with the annual Holiday Pops Spectacular on November 25th. Ample holiday cheer will grab the hearts of all. Don’t miss a special appearance by Santa and a jovial sing along.
- Brunch with Santa, BrewVino: Spend a magical morning with Santa Claus at BrewVino! ✨ Gather the family and join us Saturday, December 7th for a special breakfast pizza brunch with St. Nick. Be sure to bring your Christmas list to drop in his mailbox. Reservations are not accepted for this event. No purchase necessary to see Santa. Please tag @brewvino in your pictures!
- Breakfast with Santa, Wellsville Fire Company: Reserved Seating Times. Tickets must be pre-purchased.
Join your friends and family as we welcome Santa to Wellsville. Our elves will be cooking up a delicious breakfast for you to enjoy before meeting the jolly guy himself. Remember to bring your letter for Santa to drop in the North Pole mailbox. Special guest appearances from the Grinch, Gingerbread Man, Buddy & Jovie, Rudolph and Olaf. Enjoy crafts and activities before or after breakfast. Don’t forget your camera or phone to take photos with Santa and friends!

* Children (5 & under) – Free - Tree Lighting Ceremony and Cookies & Cocoa with Santa, York Township: Join Santa at the York Township Municipal Building for the annual tree lighting ceremony followed by cookies, cocoa, and more!
Beginning at 6:30 pm, join the Dallastown Middle School Choir by the tree as they sing prior to Santa’s arrival. The tree lighting ceremony begins promptly at 7:00 pm. Movies/games/crafts/cookies and carriage rides will be available following the tree lighting ceremony.
- Visit with Santa, Brown’s Orchards: Santa will be back to visit with the kiddos and for families to take photos in our decorated Cottage next to the Greenhouse on Saturdays & Sundays from 2-4pm Nov. 30th-Dec. 22nd.

- Cookies and Storytime with Santa, Hayshire UCC: Join us for cookies and story time with Santa! Enjoy cookies and hot chocolate, and get your picture taken and listen to a special story with Santa.
