27th Annual Chile Pepper Festival

Bill Delong Memorial Park in Bowers, PA is home to the Chile Pepper Food Festival (September 8-9, 2023), held each year the weekend after Labor Day. This event is the largest of its kind anywhere in the United States and is host to chile pepper food, crafts, a Jalapeno eating contest, a chile pepper field excursion and much more.
Free samples and amazing vendors for honey, sauces, jams, popcorn, all kinds of things. Lots of variety in heat and food for everyone, expect fiery fun. Think you can eat the most chile peppers? Then participate in the chile pepper eating contest.
