On this week’s episode of Fireflies and Whoopie Pie: Kate Middleton has announced that she has cancer, and the public has been accused of harassing her over the past few weeks. But who is really to blame here?
In January, Kensington Palace announced that Kate Middleton would be undergoing a planned abdominal surgery, and would be stepping back from public duties until Easter. By March, she hadn’t been seen in public at all, and speculation began swirling about her whereabouts and well-being. This led to a highly doctored photo of Kate with her children being released, only for international news agencies to issue a kill notice. Kate issued a statement claiming she edited the photo, and then last week, announced she has been diagnosed with cancer. Public reaction to this saga has been shifting non-stop, but the real people responsible have largely gone unnoticed.
