She worked as a middle school and elementary school counselor before transitioning to staying at her home with her two young children. After he joined the United States Marine Corps, they were stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, and weathered three deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan together, while she worked as a freelance writer. Their first son, Benjamin, was born in 2011, the day after Matt came home from Afghanistan. They soon got pregnant again, and learned their newest addition would have an extra chromosome! Wyatt was born in 2012 with Down syndrome, with Matt watching proudly from Afghanistan. I am a former graduate of Millersville University with a degree in Elementary Education. I married my long time boyfriend in 2013 and we now have three daughters, ages 6, 3, and 3 months (and a 13 year old fur baby, Jerzey). I taught first grade for seven years before resigning in 2018 to take on the role of stay at home mom. Since resigning, I have taught online for various teaching companies and currently teach for Outschool, an online tutoring service. She went on to cosmetology school where she met her now-husband through a classmate and got married. Jordan had worked at some of Cumberland County's "Best Of" salons and spas before becoming a mom in April 2020 and deciding to stay home. Jordan, her husband and their two sons live in Dauphin County. She is a proud queer, and single mama to an adventurous and compassionate child. The family lives in Elizabethtown, and their girls recently started kindergarten together. Sarah is a stay-at-home mom who loves arts & crafts, drawing, painting, being outside, walking, plays, kid-friendly events, coffee, chocolate, movies, music, animals. She went to a technical school for childcare, and worked in daycare for years. She previously worked in an elementary school, and plans to get back into a local school once they go full day next year. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Education and from Penn State Harrisburg with a M.Ed.in Literacy Education. She taught elementary and middle school for several years before transitioning to being a stay-at-home mom to her wonderful children. Since staying at home, she has continued to be involved with early childhood literacy groups, tutoring reading online, substitute teaching, and being actively involved in church.
