Plants grow in nearly every environment on earth and serve as food for people and many animals. Depending on the kind of plant (and animal), different parts may be eaten including the leaves, stems, roots, flowers, fruit and seeds. Children will learn about seeds as food for people and animals and discover how animals spread seeds.
