Community Free Day

Our February Community Free Day, sponsored by United Concordia Dental, is Saturday, February 18, 2023, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Join us as we celebrate Black History Month and President Abraham Lincoln’s birthday. Re-opening after a planned maintenance closure to perform routine conservation and maintenance, we are proud to provide activities and entertainment for the community, free of charge to visitors. Family activities include a coloring activity grab & go station, dental display, and reenactors. Meet President Abraham Lincoln and enjoy a quilting activity with Audrey Trussell.
In addition to the scheduled programming, the NCWM will open its newest special exhibit “Greatness Thrust Upon Them,” sponsored by Abel & Son Roofing and Siding. This unique exhibit will be on display through January 31, 2024.
