Hanukkah Events in Berks County

  • Hanukkah Party, Reform Congregation Oheb Sholom: December 10th from 4:00pm – 7:00pm. Dinner, Latkes, Donuts and Treats. Games and crafts for the kids and music.
  • Chanukah Wonderland and Gelt Drop, Chabad Lubavitch of Berks County: December 12th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Hot sizzling latkes, delicious donuts, face painting, chocolate coins, childrens crafts, fun for the whole family – free family event!
  • Hanukah Celebration, Kesher Zion Synagogue: December 13th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. Bring your menorahs, candles and dreidels and eat some yummy latkes. For more information please contact the office at 610-374-1763 or email us at [email protected].
  • Chanukah Celebration Concert, Jewish Cultural Center: December 14th from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. Join us for a Chanukah concert with pianist and singer Karl Hausman. Jewish favorites, showtunes, and golden oldies.

Hanukkah Events in Cumberland County

  • Grand LED Menorah Lighting, Chabad West Shore: December 10th at 4:30pm. Grand Chanukah Celebration!! Fire Show, Gelt Drop, Latkes, Donuts, Lighting our Grand Menorah! Chanukah fun for the whole family. This is a FREE event, but advance registration is requested by contacting [email protected].
  • Hanukkah Party, Temple Beth Shalom: December 10th at 4:30pm. Please join us for latkes and a candle lighting. RSVP by Wednesday, December 6th via email or phone at 717.697.2662.

Hanukkah Events in Dauphin County

  • Hanukkah Celebration Big Band Style, Beth El Temple: December 9th at 7:00pm. Join us as we welcome the Unforgettable Big Band live at Beth El Temple. Dancing, laughing, and interacting are a must! $10 per person. Desserts and drinks will be served. RSVP by December 7 to [email protected] or 717-232-0556.
  • Hanukkah in Your Neighborhood, Beth El Temple: All day December 10th. Join us on the 4th night of Hanukkah to celebrate with your Beth El friends who live nearby! 3:00pm on the West Shore, and 6:30pm in the Linglestown Road area. RSVP for your chosen location by December 7 to [email protected] or 717-232-0556 (addresses will be sent by email after you RSVP). Please bring a cold vegetarian dish or dessert to share!
  • Chanukah Celebration at the State Capitol: December 7th from 4:30pm – 5:45pm. Join us for an evening filled with unity, inspiration, and connection at the State Capitol East Wing Rotunda on Commonwealth Avenue, Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 4:30 pm. Bring the whole family for a fun-filled evening featuring hot latkes, sufganiyot, dreidels, chocolate gelt, musical entertainment, and a special presentation by the Silver Academy. There will be exciting activities for kids, and all children will have a chance to win a 10″ Samsung Tablet.
  • Hannukah Dinner, Temple Ohel Sholom: December 8th at 6:00pm. Join Ohev Sholom for a festive Hannukah dinner at Sisterhood Hall. Services will be held at 7:00pm. $18 per person; children under 13 are free. Please RSVP to [email protected]. Bring your menorah, Hannukah candles, and appetite!

  • Hanukkah Party, Congregation Beth Israel: December 7th at 6:30pm. Join us for our annual Hanukkah party!!

Hanukkah Events in York County

  • Community Chanukah Celebration, York Jewish Community Center: December 10th from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Join the York JCC and the York community for our Community Chanukah Celebration. We are partnering with the Temple Beth Israel religious school for a Sunday funday program filled with ruach, spirit! We will have crafts, games, and treats to share, including beautiful music of the holiday. We will also play the dreidel game (with a dreidel TOURNAMENT!) and light the menorah together as a community. PJ Library will also join us with story time and activities!   • Rockin’ Chanukah Celebration, Temple Beth Israel: December 8th at 7:00pm. Bring your menorah and rock out with us! Rabbi Melody, Cantor Lisa, and our 7th grade religious school students are joined by the TBI band as we Rock Chanukah during our Shabbat Service.
