fall recipes

Fall is my favorite season. Something about the smell of pumpkin spice in the air, bonfires, sweater weather, and leaves crunching beneath my feet bring me a sense of renewed happiness. The change in season also brings a new hectic schedule to follow and adapt to. The kids return to school and fall sports and activities have once again begun. One thing I like to plan ahead with during these busy weeks are our dinner meals, with some soul-warming fall recipes.

I’ll admit it, I don’t love to cook. My kitchen becomes messy, recipes can be tedious to follow, and buying all the ingredients beforehand seems like a daunting task to add to my never-ending to-do list. Over the past years, I’ve tried to find recipes that my whole family will love, are quick and easy to make, and are (somewhat) healthy. Below are five of my favorite fall recipes.

Hopefully these recipes will come in handy this fall for you and your family to eat and enjoy!

Three Ingredient Lazy Lasagna
My girls LOVE anything pasta related! This easy dinner recipes is only three ingredients and combines frozen ravioli, pasta sauce, and cheese. For a side I suggest a salad and garlic bread.

Crockpot Crack Chicken

This recipe is a regular in our household. Getting my three-year-old to eat anything is always challenging, and meat is not something that she eats willingly. Whenever I make this savory, hearty, chicken recipe, though, she gobbles it up! It’s a great way to get your picky eater to eat some protein. Eat on buns and serve as a sandwich.

Southern Broccoli Casserole

I often think that I should have been born and lived in the south! I am drawn to their way of life, clothing attire, and homestyle cooking! This fall recipe is a great way to introduce those greens to your littles in a delicious and cheesy way! My husband loves it when I tell him that broccoli casserole in on the menu for dinner. I made it last week and he couldn’t stop raving about how good it was! Super easy and quick to make. Pair with a side of bread and noodles.

Low Carb Chili Recipe (No Beans)

My husband was on a KETO kick for awhile so I was often searching for recipes that we could all eat together as a family. The one that I found was a Keto Chili Recipe. Nothing says fall like Chili! My girls don’t love beans so this way is more adaptable for our family. Throw all the ingredients in your crockpot or instant pot and you have a delicious meal ready to eat at your convenience!

Big Mac Tater Tot Casserole

My friend Amber gave me this casserole recipe awhile back and I finally made it this past summer. It was a huge hit! I think everyone likes Big Macs but not everyone wants to go out and eat one. This one has the flavor of a Big Mac and fries combined in one dish.
