Valentine’s Day Craft Ideas That Your Kids Will Love

1

There are so many wonderful craft ideas for Valentine’s Day. My daughters and I love doing crafts all the time! This year we did some different ones for Valentine’s Day. Now, arts and crafts can be tricky for some parents, especially if you aren’t a particularly creative person, but these are simple even for someone who hates arts and crafts.

First, we made toilet paper roll hearts with paint. You take the toilet paper roll, bend one end slightly to make a heart shape, and then dip in paint! It’s easy and super cute.

We also cut out hearts from construction paper and made a few different crafts. We painted some, and used bingo dotters on others. We also made heart people, by making faces on the different hearts – a perfect craft for Valentine’s Day!

A great craft we tried can also help your kiddos practice gratitude. We drew a heart, and then drew lines to make different sections on the heart. Then we filled it with things they love in each section. They really enjoyed that, and they came up with all of it completely on their own; I didn’t give them a category, because I wanted it to be their own choice. And of course, they turned out great! It’s a great way to remember that, even when we feel like we aren’t getting anywhere, or our kids don’t appreciate what we do for them, that they actually do see us. Make sure you save this one to lift you up on those days when you feel like nothing is going right — it’ll be a great reminder of how much your kids love and appreciate you.

There are so many different crafts to do for Valentine’s Day! And these were so much fun!
