South Central PA Mom, the area’s foremost resource for local parents, has officially launched. Written BY South Central PA Moms, FOR South Central PA Moms, we will serve as the go-to resource for moms in the area, providing inspiring, relatable, and informative content. Our goal is to bridge the gap between moms and the information, resources and support they need, right where they live.
Founded by Casandra Chesser, a local mom, South Central PA Mom’s goal is to bring moms together, and give them the information they need to know. We will provide all the latest on local happenings, connecting with your community, small businesses to support, parenting solutions, and more. We are passionate about parenting and the families in the South Central PA area, and are dedicated to investing in our community.
“As a mom, I know firsthand how hard it can be to find connection in your community,” Chesser said. “My goal in founding this site was to help moms know that they are not alone, that there is somewhere to meet other women and have a voice in their community, and give them the tools they need to thrive here.”
Chesser is joined by a local team of writers, with different backgrounds and experiences, who will also further serve as a resource for area moms. With diverse points of view, content, and life experiences, there will be something for everyone to relate to, find inspiring, or find empowerment in.
South Central PA Mom is a sister site with City Mom Collective, the nation’s largest network of hyper-local mom communities. There are over 70 sister sites across the country, which all have a team of local moms creating original content to connect local moms, totaling hundreds of moms as owners, thousands as contributors, and millions as readers. Through honest and positive parenting information, creative ideas, opportunities to give back, tips on the best local businesses to check out, and fun local events, we will make our part of the world a little bit easier to navigate.
“My goal is to show area families what an amazing part of the world we are able to live in,” Chesser said. “I hope we will become a vital part of our community, supporting local parents and businesses, and helping moms to become more involved with and connected to their home.”
Visitors to the site will find a one-stop-shop for all of their parenting needs, with a community calendar of events, guides to local events, and much more.
