Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus: March 2nd, 9th, and 16th. The Playhouse at Allenberry. Whatever you do, don’t let the Pigeon star in his own musical production! With a script written by Mo Willems, the creator of the #1 New York Times best-selling, Caldecott Honor award-winning “Pigeon” picture books, and featuring music by Deborah Wicks La Puma (Elephant & Piggie’s We Are in a Play!), Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! is even more fun than staying up late and having a hot dog party! It’s not easy being the Pigeon-you never get to do ANYTHING! But when the Bus Driver has a crisis that threatens to make her passengers (gasp!) late, maybe that wily bird CAN do something.

Introducing a brand NEW bunny in town, inspired by the beloved REESE’S Peanut Butter Cup! Come visit and grab photos with your family and friends in the World’s Largest HERSHEY’S Store. Visit our NEW Reester Bunny at our Meet & Greet area in the Food Hall. Should you choose, the photo team will be available for pictures and souvenirs.


The Cat in the Hat Learning Series: March 6th, 13th, and 20th. Wildwood Park. Join an Environmental Educator for fun interactive story session for children ages 3-5. Stories, rhymes, and a craft/activity will introduce science through the eyes of the Cat In The Hat. Classes are offered during 3 consecutive Wednesdays. This program is sponsored by Altrusa of South Central PA, providing a book for each participant. Each participant will go home with a theme-related book. Pre-registration required.


Easter Egg Hunt Special: March 16th, 17th, and 23rd. Stewartstown Railroad Company. Our Easter Egg Hunt Special offers a train ride with the Easter Bunny to our picnic grove, where children can participate in an Easter Egg Hunt (limit of 10 eggs per child please, open to children 2-12). Every child will receive a Easter bag to collect eggs and their own set of Bunny Ears. This ride is about 90 minutes long.

Kids Night Out: March 1st, 5:30pm – 8:30pm. Tiny Town Lancaster. Did you know that we offer childcare EVERY SINGLE First Friday of the month? Tiny Town offers a great opportunity for you to take a break by hosting Kids Night Out (KNO)! Enjoy a night out (or in?) while your children come and experience life in Tiny Town! Closed to the public, we will offer our town exclusively to KNO families! Potty trained 3 and older children only. Includes: Pizza, snack & drink, a fun craft, games, and, of course, playtime in our town!


Easter Bunny Wreath Workshop: March 1st, 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Dover Senior Center. The Senior Center is located on the side of the Community building with the Playground. $30 per Wreath. Please remember this event is a family friendly event.


Green Eggs & Ham Brunch: March 2nd, 9:30am – 11:30am. The Lively Hive. Join us for our first annual Green Eggs and Ham brunch! This special event will be enjoyed by all ages. All parents, grandparents, siblings, and friends are welcome to join in on this fun and exciting event. This brunch will feature a craft, game, the classic story, plus brunch catered by Helena’s Cafe and Creperie.


Saturday Family Playtime: March 2nd, 10:00am – 11:30am. McCormick Riverfront Library. Caregivers, are you looking for time to play with your little ones and talk to other parents? Join Miss Brie at the McCormick Riverfront Library for a play date! We will have guided group and free choice play options. Building challenges and other STEAM activities included. For ages 0-5 years.


Lawilowan American Indian Festival: March 2nd – 3rd. York College of Pennsylvania Grumbacher Sport and Fitness Center. Come on out and enjoy some good family fun. You will see Native American drumming, singing, dancing, crafts, and vendors, Native food, and the Native American Flute Circles. We will be raising awareness for MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women-People). The event will be held March 2 and 3. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. both days. Grand entry is noon on both days.


Mid-Atlantic Reptile Expo: March 2nd, 9:00am – 4:00pm. Carlisle Expo Center. The Mid-Atlantic Reptile Expo is a sales and educational event geared toward reptile & amphibian enthusiasts. Admission is $10 for all guests 13 years of age and older, guests 12 and under are free. TICKETS SOLD ONLY AT THE DOOR. This is a family friendly event. Children 12 and under are free! This expo is a great place to expose your family to the “weird” side of pets. It’s a great place to learn about all varieties of different animals. You might even find yourself taking home a new family member.


Kids Spring Seed Planting Event: March 2nd, 11:00am – 2:00pm. Bomberger’s Ace of Annville. Join us for our Kids Spring Seed Planting Event! A free event, kids will get to plant 2-3 seed pots of their choosing. Choose from a variety of flower and vegetable seeds. We can’t wait to see you there!


Ice and Fire Festival: March 2nd, 11:00am – 7:00pm. Downtown Harrisburg. Downtown street festival on 2nd Street between Market & Pine Street featuring an ice slide, ice skating (skates provided), fire dancers, live ice carvings, fire pits and smores, performances by local school and community groups, free kids activities, food trucks, artisan market, vendors, and more.


Maple Sugar Festival: March 3rd, 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Fort Hunter Mansion and Park. For about six weeks nature cooks up sweet delights within sugar maple trees as the sap begins to flow, ready to be tapped for making sugar and syrup. The weather needs a combination of below-freezing temperatures at night and above-freezing temperatures during the day that cause the maple sap to flow. Visitors can try tapping a tree, see maple syrup and candy making, and learn about different types of maple syrup. There are many children’s activities. Pennsylvania maple products are available for sale during the event.


Breakfast with the Birds: March 5th, 9:30am – 11:00am. Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. Observe and learn about winter resident birds at our feeder station! Chat with a naturalist while you enjoy coffee, tea, and light refreshments. Indoors, accessible event.

WinterFest: March 8th, 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Heritage Christian Academy. Italian Dinner includes a salad, spaghetti and meatball meal, a vegetable medley option, & drink. You may dine-in or take dinner to-go. Prizes will be awarded to a few dine-in eaters! There is also a live auction event only for those dining-in. Italian Dinner + Childcare includes dine-in meal tickets + childcare for children ages 3 to10 from 3:00pm-5:00pm. Pickup no later than 5:00pm in the Preschool hallway. Activities for the children are provided including a bounce house.

Auction has two parts: an online auction & a live auction event. You will need to sign-up separately for the auction. There are all types of goodies from experiences to items! A Buy-it-Now board is making its comeback this year! The live auction event will only be available to those who dine-in. You don’t want to miss out! Be on the lookout on social media to see what auction items will be available online & live. Bake Sale will be in the Fellowship Hall. Treat yourself to some yummy sweets with your dine-in meal or take some to go!


Skate with the Easter Bunny: March 9th, 1:30pm – 3:00pm. Klick Lewis Arena. Hippity Hop! The Easter Bunny is on his way to Klick Lewis Arena! Come skate with the Easter Bunny! Register online at www.klicklewisarena.com! $15/adult and $10/child under nine; includes admission and skate rental.



The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show: March 9th, 4:00pm – 6:00pm. The Miller Center for the Arts.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar is one of the four productions in The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show. It is an enchanting and delightful telling of the classic children’s book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”, using large-scale puppetry that wows audiences all over.


Easter Photos with Ponies: March 9th and 10th, 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Brooke’s Pony Extravaganza. We will be hosting an EGGtravagant photo event for the whole family this upcoming Easter! You will have the unique opportunity to include the ponies in your photo festivities! Who needs the Easter Bunny when you can have Easter Ponies?! We will be having two different options for this event- bring your own camera and a professional photographer.


Charter Day Open House: March 10th, 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Daniel Boone Homestead. In observance of Pennsylvania’s founding, the Daniel Boone Homestead will offer an exciting open house and living history event featuring eighteenth century demonstrations, trades, and hands-on activities including the operation of the unique Bertolet Sawmill. Additional demonstrations include gunsmithing, leatherworking, hearth cooking, spinning, wool dyeing, and blacksmithing. The event will also feature craft and specialty food vendors as well as food trucks and concessions.

Visitors can tour the spring cellar and Boone House as they learn about the three families who lived there during the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Volunteers will be cooking a hearty meal over the hearth in the kitchen. Other buildings in the historic area will also be open for viewing including the Smokehouse, Blacksmith Shop, and Homestead Barn. Throughout the historic area, visitors can learn about the skillful work of a blacksmith, the detailed work of a leatherworker, and the intricate work of a gunsmith. Visitors will also have the unique opportunity to tour the three-room Bertolet Log House and enjoy colonial toys and games. Finally, staff will be running the Bertolet Sawmill throughout the afternoon. Visitors can choose from two times – 1:00 and 3:00pm – to watch this rare piece of machinery in action. The Sawmill is one of the oldest operating water-powered vertical blade sawmills in Pennsylvania. It was moved to the Homestead in 1972 from its original location in the Oley Valley.

No admission is charged for this program, but donations are welcome.


St. Patrick’s Family Day: March 10th, 12:00pm – 6:00pm. SpringGate Arcona. Enjoy your favorite SpringGate libations along with live music and food. Grandpa Ernie’s famous Green St. Pat’s Kid Slushy will be a free treat! The McGinley School of Irish Dance will be on-site, presenting 2 dance performances at 2PM and 3:30PM. It’s going to be an awesome time for kids and adults of all ages! Multiple crafts for kids, vendors, and food trucks will be present.


St. Pooch’s Day Carnival: March 11th, 11:00am – 3:00pm. The Shops @ Rockvale. We are hosting our 4th Annual St Pooch’s Day Carnival Event on March 11th from 11am to 3pm. This event was created to help with awareness for Rescues by creating an event that is family friendly, while offering something for everyone, including your furbabies! You can expect lots of games, pet rescues, adoptable pets, balloon artists, face painters, live music, and more!


Sensory Friendly Night: March 13th, 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Hershey’s Chocolate World. Unwrap your chocolate adventure with modified attractions, retail and food discounts, visits with Susquehanna Service Dogs, photos with HERSHEY’S Characters, and more. Experience the free HERSHEY’S Chocolate Tour ride, Create Your Own Candy Bar, and HERSHEY’S Unwrapped modified for sensory sensitivities.

Masters of Illusion: March 15th, 7:30pm. American Music Theatre. Starring the world’s greatest award-winning magicians, this 21st century magic show is unlike anything you have seen before – filled with modern illusions and arts of deception, performed live on stage. Watch closely as you experience things that just can’t be done … or can they? Audiences will be held at the edge of their seats by the jaw-dropping grand illusions, and laugh out loud at the hysterical comedy magic as performers from around the world combine fantasy, fervor, and flair with magic created in front of their very eyes.


Spring Festival and PEEP Show: March 16th, 10:00am – 12:00pm. The Residence at Fitz Farm. Come join us for our 2nd Annual Spring Festival from 10am-12pm. York St. Patrick’s Day Parade: March 16th, 11:00am – 5:00pm. Downtown York. The details for this free, family-friendly event: Parade steps off 1:00 p.m. from Market and Penn Streets. Pre- parade entertainment begins at 11:00 AM at various locations throughout Downtown – includes Irish Dance Groups, Face Painting, Balloon Art, and Irish Bands!! Approximately 100 entries take part in this annual celebration of Celtic heritage, including bands, Irish dance groups, floats, antique and decorated vehicles, clowns, individuals and family groups, organizations, and media entries. Enjoy entertainment, Irish dance performances, children’s activities, and merchant promotions at many locations before and after the parade.


Harrisburg St. Patrick’s Day Parade: March 16th, 2:00pm. Downtown Harrisburg. March is the luckiest month to be in downtown Harrisburg! With a schedule packed full of activities, festivals, and more, there is something to do nearly every weekend. The Harrisburg St. Patrick’s Day Parade stands at the top of that list: held on Saturday, March 16, starting at 2 p.m. in downtown Harrisburg, it contains a wide assortment of community groups, bands, characters, and other fun figures and organizations.

Fire trucks will be there from the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire, Duncannon Fire Company, Hummelstown Fire Department, and Penbrook Fire Company, and kids are sure to have out-of-this-world photo ops with the Star Wars characters from the Central PA Jedi-Sith Alliance, Garrison Carida, rebels from Kyber Base, and Mandalorians from Clan Mav Oya’la. Find yourself swept away to the green hills and fields of Ireland with the iconic, traditional bagpipe music from Lancaster-based Ceol Neamh Pipe Band, and tap along with the talented Irish dancers from the McGinley School of Irish Dance and the Carraig School of Irish Dance.


The Best St. Patrick’s Day Party Ever: March 16th, 2:00pm – 8:00pm. Bridge Street in New Cumberland. YOU are invited to the Inaugural Best St. Patrick’s Day Party Ever in Downtown New Cumberland on March 16th, from 2-8PM. All are welcome to come out and enjoy in the fun! Festivities include live music, crafters, face painting, food trucks, pet parade, and more!


3.21 for Life World Down Syndrome Day Celebration: March 21st, 11:00am – 7:00pm. Tröegs Independent Brewing. 3.21 for Life is taking over the beautiful Troegs Brewing, located on HersheyPark Drive! There is plenty of parking, a beer garden, tasting rooms and so much more. Throughout the day we will have activities like cornhole, face painting and balloon art, as well as live music! You will be able to enter our fun raffles, drink one of Pennsylvania’s best selling craft beers and eat delicious, locally sourced food. And get this, the incredible team at Troegs will be giving 20% of all food purchases to 3.21 for Life! This event is completely free to attend! We encourage everyone who has been touched by someone with Down syndrome, or who just wants to find out more about these amazing individuals, to stop by.

Who knows, you might even see some sparks fly!

Easter Bunny Hop Express: March 23rd, 29th, and 30th. Stone Gables Estate. Enjoy a hippity hoppity narrated Easter train excursion into Bunnyland! See and ride on a replica of an 1868 steam locomotive, pulling an 1848 Pioneer Coach, mid-1860’s Combine Coach, and our newest 1860’s Day Coach. On board the train, children will receive a special surprise visit as it traverses into a fully decorated train shed amassed with Easter characters, displays, and Bunnyland.


Breakfast with the Easter Bunny: March 23rd – 24th, 29th – 30th. Country Barn Market. The Easter Bunny is hopping into town and making a special stop at the Country Barn Farm for a delightful Farm to Fork breakfast. We invite you to join us for this joyous occasion! Celebrate the season at our annual Easter Breakfast event, featuring multiple dates to accommodate everyone. Relish in a bountiful buffet breakfast, get memorable photos taken with the Easter Bunny, and participate in fun-filled activities including coloring contests, egg hunts, and exclusive access to Bunny Village. Don’t miss the chance to be a part of this egg-citing event!


Eggspecially Fun Bunny Run: March 23rd – 24th, 29th – 30th. Northern Central Railway of York. Enjoy the scenic ride through the Heritage Rail Trail County Park to Railroad. Children can participate in an egg hunt (weather permitting), visit with the easter bunny for photo opportunities, and receive a free treat bag.


Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast: March 23rd, 9:00am – 11:00am. Zion United Methodist Church. Let’s celebrate the Easter season together. Join us for a free pancake breakfast at 9am and egg hunt for the kids (infant – 5th grade) starting at 10am. Rain or shine! Registration is strongly encouraged, but not required.

The Boy Who Grew Flowers: March 23rd, 10:00am. The Appell Center for the Performing Arts. The Boy Who Grew Flowers is a stunning visual performance with puppets, original music, dancing and movement. The heartwarming tale encourages children to empathize with and reach out to others. Based on the picture book by Jen Wojtowicz, this theater adaptation will thrill children and grown-ups alike.

A young boy, Rink, lives on top of Lonesome Mountain with his unusual family of rattlesnake tamers and shape shifters. The townspeople agree that Rink’s family are quite strange, but they are unaware of Rink’s spectacular gifts. Whenever the moon is full, Rink sprouts beautiful flowers all over his body. When a new girl, Angelina, moves to town, Rink’s life truly begins to grow.

Ultimate Elementary Fun Day: March 23rd, 10:00am – 12:00pm. Lancaster First Assembly of God. Join us for the Ultimate Elementary Play Day for kids up through 6th grade. Activities include a Petting Zoo, Barrel Train Ride, Games, Bounce House, Rally, Prizes, and More!


Easter on the Farm: March 23rd, 11:00am – 4:00pm. Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center. Celebrate the Easter traditions of the Pennsylvania Dutch with egg hunts, children’s activities and crafts, hearth cooking demonstrations, artisans, folklife exhibits, barrel rides, and more! This event is free to the public, and fun for the whole family.

Bunny Hop Egg Hunt: March 23rd, 12:00pm – 2:00pm. Downtown Annville. Celebrate! Annville invites you to join us for the 1st Annual Bunny Hop! Two Easter Egg hunts (12:00 and 1:00)- eggs filled with candy and chances to win prizes, Selfies with the Easter Bunny, 50/50 raffle, raffle baskets! This event is free to all, sponsored by American Legion Post 559 and Cura Bella Day Care. Any questions can be answered by emailing [email protected].


Moon Dancer Easter Egg Hunt: March 23rd, 12:30pm. Moon Dancer Winery and Vineyards. FREE entry! Egg hunts for adults and children, times set up for different ages.


Egg’stra Special Easter Egg Hunt: March 23rd, 1:00pm – 3:00pm. Good Shepherd Church. This egg hunt is for children and young adults with special needs. Accommodations are made to ensure that everyone can participate. Accommodations such as flat surfaces and eggs placed higher for participants in wheelchairs or with walkers, beeping eggs for the visually impaired, smaller groups (20 or less in a group) for hunting, etc. There is a hunt at the end of the event for siblings that do not need accommodations. Doors open at 12:30. There will be crafts and other fun activities for participants to do while they wait to hunt.


Spring EggStravaganza: March 24th, 10:00am – 6:00pm. Tiny Town Lancaster. Hop down to Tiny Town and join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Wear your Easter best and take your spring pictures in our town or spend time at our NEW goat snuggling station! You will get to play in town, eat delicious Duck Donuts, decorate Easter eggs, meet and take unlimited Photos with the Easter Bunny, snuggle goats and more! This is not your typical hunt where there is a mad dash and crying children – each child will get quality time enjoying all of our activities!


Easter Bunny Hop: March 24th and 31st. Stewartstown Railroad Company. Our Easter Bunny Hop (No egg hunt) offers our traditional train ride with the Easter Bunny. Every Child receives a treat from the Easter Bunny and their own set of Bunny Ears. There is no egg hunt with these rides. This ride is about 60 minutes long.


Blippi – The Wonderful World Tour: March 24th, 2:00pm. Luhrs Center. Blippi is coming to your city for the ultimate curiosity adventure in Blippi: The Wonderful World Tour! So, come on! Dance, sing, and learn with Blippi and special guest Meekah as they discover what makes different cities unique and special. Will there be monster trucks, excavators, and garbage trucks galore? You bet! So get ready to shake those wiggles out and OJ Twist your way through this brand-new musical party!


Fit4Mom Reading Easter Egg Hunt: March 24th, 4:30pm. South Heidelberg Run West Park. Join the FIT4MOM Reading for a festive and family-friendly event at South Heidelberg Run West Park (S. Arthur Dr and Longview Dr)! Our annual Egg Hunt is scheduled for Sunday, March 24th, starting at 4:30pm. Children aged 1 -12 are invited to participate in the egg-citing hunt, with staggered start times catering to different age groups. Be sure to bring a basket to collect the eggs and get ready for a delightful time filled with treats. Food trucks, activities and more! Don’t miss out on this egg-stra special community gathering!


StoryWalk: March 28th, 10:00am. The Nature Place. The StoryWalk is a fun new way to enjoy walking along the property of Angelica Creek Park with one of our favorite children’s books. On this guided StoryWalk, tag along with our educator and stroll leisurely from page to page to enjoy the telling of this nature-themed story.


Disney On Ice – Into the Magic: March 28th – 31st. Giant Center. Discover why no dream is too big at Disney On Ice presents Into the Magic! Seek adventure in the great wide somewhere with Belle as she explores the Beast’s enchanted castle, experience Moana’s courage to embark on a voyage with demigod Maui to save her island, and sing-along with Miguel from Coco as he follows the music in his heart. Be inspired by Anna’s devotion to her sister Elsa on her journey to the North Mountain to stop the eternal winter, and watch Rapunzel and Flynn go to great lengths to make her dream come true. Celebrate the magic of courage, love and adventure at Disney On Ice!


Spring Fling: March 29th, 9:00am – 3:00pm. Paulus Farm Market. Come on out this spring for egg hunts, egg decorating, hayrides, animal visits, and the Easter Bunny! Tickets include: A dozen hard boiled eggs and decorating supplies, plus your own private table space for your group for decorating, FarmPark admission to the friendly farm animals and play spaces, Hayride out to the egg hunt, Egg hunt with treats and treasures, Visits with the Easter Bunny, A snack and drink for each person, and more!


Pictures with the Easter Bunny: March 30th 9:00am – 1:00pm. Reading Public Museum. The Reading Public Museum will Open its doors early on Saturday, March 30 for pre-registered guests to visit with The Easter Bunny. Professional photos for families will be taken by Zerbe Photography. Guests will receive craft kits and treats from The Museum and other community sponsors while also having the opportunity to partake in a special Easter Scavenger Hunt. Registration is required for this event.


Wee Ones Egg Hunt: March 30th, 9:30am – 1:00pm. Paulus Farm Market. This event is limited to children ages 2 and under. This is just an enjoyable little egg hunt inside the big greenhouse for their first or second Easter holiday. We will have baby and toddler approved treats and treasures, plus some fun coupons for the adults. It’s a great time to get photos and enjoy a simple morning on the farm. Buy your ticket and arrive about 10 minutes early so you don’t miss the fun. Ticket includes the egg hunt – no Hayrides, Easter Bunny or craft activity – on this special day for the tiniest of tots. Each ticket is for one child. Adult caretakers do not need to purchase tickets.

Raptor Egg Hunt: March 30th, 10:00am – 1:30pm. Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. Come along for an “Egg”cellent adventure. Learn all about eggs and the creatures that lay them. Children will then search for “raptor” eggs hidden in the forest. All eggs are turned in for a prize! All ages will be hunting at the same time for eggs, please plan accordingly. Rain cancels. Ticket is for each child participating; parents do not need to purchase a ticket.


The Bunny Brunch: March 30th, 10:30am – 1:30pm. The Ballroom at Stevens School. Gather your loved ones and join us on Saturday, March 30th for Ecklin Events’ first ever Bunny Brunch in the Ballroom, catered by Proof of Lancaster.

Enjoy a delectable spread of Easter favorites, including fluffy french toast, baked honey ham, prime rib and colorful spring salads, amidst the enchanting ambience of the Stevens School Ballroom. Built in 1904 by C. Emlen Urban, the Ballroom is a stunning example of Beaux Arts and French Renaissance architecture and creates a fairytale atmosphere, right in the heart of Downtown Lancaster.

Kids will love getting lots of one-on-one time with the Easter Bunny himself, including an Easter-themed story read-aloud just for them. Themed Bunny busy bags and crafts will keep them happily entertained while the adults get time to sit back, relax, and enjoy a delicious holiday meal. A robust offering of upscale, family-friendly dishes will be available, catered by Proof of Lancaster (full menu below). The brunch buffet is being provided by Kathryn’s Katering and will include both breakfast and lunch items for the whole family. While families are enjoying their meals, The Easter Bunny will be around for some impromptu meet and greets. No professional photos will be included with this event. Children will also receive an event exclusive craft while also being able to participate in an exclusive Easter Egg Hunt in our Arboretum.! The egg hunt will take place rain or shine. Easter Weekend at the Museum: March 30th – 31st. Reading Public Museum. All Museum visitors will have the opportunity during public hours (11am-5pm) on Saturday and Sunday (March 30-31) to continue the tradition of celebrating Easter at The Museum. All children will be able to celebrate the holiday with an Easter themed scavenger hunt throughout The Museum. This is sure to be an EGGciting weekend at RPM! Our Easter Egg Hunt Special offers a train ride with the Easter Bunny to our picnic grove, where children can participate in an Easter Egg Hunt (limit of 10 eggs per child please, open to children 2-12). Every child will receive a Easter bag to collect eggs and their own set of Bunny Ears. This ride is about 90 minutes long.

Lawilowan American Indian Festival: March 2nd – 3rd. York College of Pennsylvania Grumbacher Sport and Fitness Center. Come on out and enjoy some good family fun. You will see Native American drumming, singing, dancing, crafts, and vendors, Native food, and the Native American Flute Circles. We will be raising awareness for MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women-People). The event will be held March 2 and 3. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. both days. Grand entry is noon on both days.


Mid-Atlantic Reptile Expo: March 2nd, 9:00am – 4:00pm. Carlisle Expo Center. The Mid-Atlantic Reptile Expo is a sales and educational event geared toward reptile & amphibian enthusiasts. Admission is $10 for all guests 13 years of age and older, guests 12 and under are free. TICKETS SOLD ONLY AT THE DOOR. This is a family friendly event. Children 12 and under are free! This expo is a great place to expose your family to the “weird” side of pets. It’s a great place to learn about all varieties of different animals. You might even find yourself taking home a new family member.


Kids Spring Seed Planting Event: March 2nd, 11:00am – 2:00pm. Bomberger’s Ace of Annville. Join us for our Kids Spring Seed Planting Event! A free event, kids will get to plant 2-3 seed pots of their choosing. Choose from a variety of flower and vegetable seeds. We can’t wait to see you there!


Ice and Fire Festival: March 2nd, 11:00am – 7:00pm. Downtown Harrisburg. Downtown street festival on 2nd Street between Market & Pine Street featuring an ice slide, ice skating (skates provided), fire dancers, live ice carvings, fire pits and smores, performances by local school and community groups, free kids activities, food trucks, artisan market, vendors, and more.


Maple Sugar Festival: March 3rd, 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Fort Hunter Mansion and Park. For about six weeks nature cooks up sweet delights within sugar maple trees as the sap begins to flow, ready to be tapped for making sugar and syrup. The weather needs a combination of below-freezing temperatures at night and above-freezing temperatures during the day that cause the maple sap to flow. Visitors can try tapping a tree, see maple syrup and candy making, and learn about different types of maple syrup. There are many children’s activities. Pennsylvania maple products are available for sale during the event.


Breakfast with the Birds: March 5th, 9:30am – 11:00am. Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. Observe and learn about winter resident birds at our feeder station! Chat with a naturalist while you enjoy coffee, tea, and light refreshments. Indoors, accessible event.

WinterFest: March 8th, 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Heritage Christian Academy. Italian Dinner includes a salad, spaghetti and meatball meal, a vegetable medley option, & drink. You may dine-in or take dinner to-go. Prizes will be awarded to a few dine-in eaters! There is also a live auction event only for those dining-in. Italian Dinner + Childcare includes dine-in meal tickets + childcare for children ages 3 to10 from 3:00pm-5:00pm. Pickup no later than 5:00pm in the Preschool hallway. Activities for the children are provided including a bounce house.

Auction has two parts: an online auction & a live auction event. You will need to sign-up separately for the auction. There are all types of goodies from experiences to items! A Buy-it-Now board is making its comeback this year! The live auction event will only be available to those who dine-in. You don’t want to miss out! Be on the lookout on social media to see what auction items will be available online & live. Bake Sale will be in the Fellowship Hall. The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show: March 9th, 4:00pm – 6:00pm. The Miller Center for the Arts.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar is one of the four productions in The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show. It is an enchanting and delightful telling of the classic children’s book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”, using large-scale puppetry that wows audiences all over.


Easter Photos with Ponies: March 9th and 10th, 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Brooke’s Pony Extravaganza. We will be hosting an EGGtravagant photo event for the whole family this upcoming Easter! You will have the unique opportunity to include the ponies in your photo festivities! Who needs the Easter Bunny when you can have Easter Ponies?! We will be having two different options for this event- bring your own camera and a professional photographer.


Charter Day Open House: March 10th, 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Daniel Boone Homestead. In observance of Pennsylvania’s founding, the Daniel Boone Homestead will offer an exciting open house and living history event featuring eighteenth century demonstrations, trades, and hands-on activities including the operation of the unique Bertolet Sawmill. Additional demonstrations include gunsmithing, leatherworking, hearth cooking, spinning, wool dyeing, and blacksmithing. The event will also feature craft and specialty food vendors as well as food trucks and concessions.

Visitors can tour the spring cellar and Boone House as they learn about the three families who lived there during the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Volunteers will be cooking a hearty meal over the hearth in the kitchen. Other buildings in the historic area will also be open for viewing including the Smokehouse, Blacksmith Shop, and Homestead Barn. Throughout the historic area, visitors can learn about the skillful work of a blacksmith, the detailed work of a leatherworker, and the intricate work of a gunsmith. Visitors will also have the unique opportunity to tour the three-room Bertolet Log House and enjoy colonial toys and games. Finally, staff will be running the Bertolet Sawmill throughout the afternoon. Visitors can choose from two times – 1:00 and 3:00pm – to watch this rare piece of machinery in action. The Sawmill is one of the oldest operating water-powered vertical blade sawmills in Pennsylvania. It was moved to the Homestead in 1972 from its original location in the Oley Valley.

No admission is charged for this program, but donations are welcome.


St. Patrick’s Family Day: March 10th, 12:00pm – 6:00pm. SpringGate Arcona. Enjoy your favorite SpringGate libations along with live music and food. Grandpa Ernie’s famous Green St. Pat’s Kid Slushy will be a free treat! The McGinley School of Irish Dance will be on-site, presenting 2 dance performances at 2PM and 3:30PM. It’s going to be an awesome time for kids and adults of all ages! Multiple crafts for kids, vendors, and food trucks will be present.


St. Pooch’s Day Carnival: March 11th, 11:00am – 3:00pm. The Shops @ Rockvale. We are hosting our 4th Annual St Pooch’s Day Carnival Event on March 11th from 11am to 3pm. This event was created to help with awareness for Rescues by creating an event that is family friendly, while offering something for everyone, including your furbabies! York St. Patrick’s Day Parade: March 16th, 11:00am – 5:00pm. Downtown York. The details for this free, family-friendly event: Parade steps off 1:00 p.m. from Market and Penn Streets. Pre- parade entertainment begins at 11:00 AM at various locations throughout Downtown – includes Irish Dance Groups, Face Painting, Balloon Art, and Irish Bands!! Approximately 100 entries take part in this annual celebration of Celtic heritage, including bands, Irish dance groups, floats, antique and decorated vehicles, clowns, individuals and family groups, organizations, and media entries. Harrisburg St. Patrick’s Day Parade: March 16th, 2:00pm. Downtown Harrisburg. March is the luckiest month to be in downtown Harrisburg! With a schedule packed full of activities, festivals, and more, there is something to do nearly every weekend. The Harrisburg St. Patrick’s Day Parade stands at the top of that list: held on Saturday, March 16, starting at 2 p.m. in downtown Harrisburg, it contains a wide assortment of community groups, bands, characters, and other fun figures and organizations.

Fire trucks will be there from the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire, Duncannon Fire Company, Hummelstown Fire Department, and Penbrook Fire Company, and kids are sure to have out-of-this-world photo ops with the Star Wars characters from the Central PA Jedi-Sith Alliance, Garrison Carida, rebels from Kyber Base, and Mandalorians from Clan Mav Oya’la. Find yourself swept away to the green hills and fields of Ireland with the iconic, traditional bagpipe music from Lancaster-based Ceol Neamh Pipe Band, and tap along with the talented Irish dancers from the McGinley School of Irish Dance and the Carraig School of Irish Dance.


The Best St. Patrick’s Day Party Ever: March 16th, 2:00pm – 8:00pm. Bridge Street in New Cumberland. Easter Bunny Hop Express: March 23rd, 29th, and 30th. Stone Gables Estate. Enjoy a hippity hoppity narrated Easter train excursion into Bunnyland! See and ride on a replica of an 1868 steam locomotive, pulling an 1848 Pioneer Coach, mid-1860’s Combine Coach, and our newest 1860’s Day Coach. On board the train, children will receive a special surprise visit as it traverses into a fully decorated train shed amassed with Easter characters, displays, and Bunnyland.


Breakfast with the Easter Bunny: March 23rd – 24th, 29th – 30th. Country Barn Market. The Easter Bunny is hopping into town and making a special stop at the Country Barn Farm for a delightful Farm to Fork breakfast. We invite you to join us for this joyous occasion! The Boy Who Grew Flowers: March 23rd, 10:00am. The Appell Center for the Performing Arts. The Boy Who Grew Flowers is a stunning visual performance with puppets, original music, dancing and movement. The heartwarming tale encourages children to empathize with and reach out to others. Based on the picture book by Jen Wojtowicz, this theater adaptation will thrill children and grown-ups alike.

A young boy, Rink, lives on top of Lonesome Mountain with his unusual family of rattlesnake tamers and shape shifters. This event is free to the public, and fun for the whole family.


Karate Easter Egg Hunt: March 23rd, 12:00pm – 1:00pm. Family Karate. Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Our rain date is Saturday March 30th at 12:15. Student may bring friends. Sign up at the front desk or on our website at www.familykaratepa.com


Bunny Hop Egg Hunt: March 23rd, 12:00pm – 2:00pm. Downtown Annville. Celebrate! Annville invites you to join us for the 1st Annual Bunny Hop! Two Easter Egg hunts (12:00 and 1:00)- eggs filled with candy and chances to win prizes, Selfies with the Easter Bunny, 50/50 raffle, raffle baskets! This event is free to all, sponsored by American Legion Post 559 and Cura Bella Day Care. Any questions can be answered by emailing [email protected].


Moon Dancer Easter Egg Hunt: March 23rd, 12:30pm. Moon Dancer Winery and Vineyards. FREE entry! Egg hunts for adults and children, times set up for different ages.


Egg’stra Special Easter Egg Hunt: March 23rd, 1:00pm – 3:00pm. Good Shepherd Church. This egg hunt is for children and young adults with special needs. Accommodations are made to ensure that everyone can participate. Accommodations such as flat surfaces and eggs placed higher for participants in wheelchairs or with walkers, beeping eggs for the visually impaired, smaller groups (20 or less in a group) for hunting, etc. There is a hunt at the end of the event for siblings that do not need accommodations. Doors open at 12:30. There will be crafts and other fun activities for participants to do while they wait to hunt.


Spring EggStravaganza: March 24th, 10:00am – 6:00pm. Tiny Town Lancaster. Hop down to Tiny Town and join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Wear your Easter best and take your spring pictures in our town or spend time at our NEW goat snuggling station! You will get to play in town, eat delicious Duck Donuts, decorate Easter eggs, meet and take unlimited Photos with the Easter Bunny, snuggle goats and more! This is not your typical hunt where there is a mad dash and crying children – each child will get quality time enjoying all of our activities!


Easter Bunny Hop: March 24th and 31st. Stewartstown Railroad Company. Our Easter Bunny Hop (No egg hunt) offers our traditional train ride with the Easter Bunny. Every Child receives a treat from the Easter Bunny and their own set of Bunny Ears. There is no egg hunt with these rides. This ride is about 60 minutes long.


Blippi – The Wonderful World Tour: March 24th, 2:00pm. Luhrs Center. Blippi is coming to your city for the ultimate curiosity adventure in Blippi: The Wonderful World Tour! So, come on! Dance, sing, and learn with Blippi and special guest Meekah as they discover what makes different cities unique and special. Will there be monster trucks, excavators, and garbage trucks galore? You bet! So get ready to shake those wiggles out and OJ Twist your way through this brand-new musical party!


Fit4Mom Reading Easter Egg Hunt: March 24th, 4:30pm. South Heidelberg Run West Park. Join the FIT4MOM Reading for a festive and family-friendly event at South Heidelberg Run West Park (S. Arthur Dr and Longview Dr)! Our annual Egg Hunt is scheduled for Sunday, March 24th, starting at 4:30pm. Children aged 1 -12 are invited to participate in the egg-citing hunt, with staggered start times catering to different age groups. Be sure to bring a basket to collect the eggs and get ready for a delightful time filled with treats. Food trucks, activities and more! Don’t miss out on this egg-stra special community gathering!


StoryWalk: March 28th, 10:00am. The Nature Place. The StoryWalk is a fun new way to enjoy walking along the property of Angelica Creek Park with one of our favorite children’s books. On this guided StoryWalk, tag along with our educator and stroll leisurely from page to page to enjoy the telling of this nature-themed story.


Disney On Ice – Into the Magic: March 28th – 31st. Giant Center. Discover why no dream is too big at Disney On Ice presents Into the Magic! Seek adventure in the great wide somewhere with Belle as she explores the Beast’s enchanted castle, experience Moana’s courage to embark on a voyage with demigod Maui to save her island, and sing-along with Miguel from Coco as he follows the music in his heart. Be inspired by Anna’s devotion to her sister Elsa on her journey to the North Mountain to stop the eternal winter, and watch Rapunzel and Flynn go to great lengths to make her dream come true. Celebrate the magic of courage, love and adventure at Disney On Ice!


Spring Fling: March 29th, 9:00am – 3:00pm. Paulus Farm Market. Come on out this spring for egg hunts, egg decorating, hayrides, animal visits, and the Easter Bunny! Tickets include: A dozen hard boiled eggs and decorating supplies, plus your own private table space for your group for decorating, FarmPark admission to the friendly farm animals and play spaces, Hayride out to the egg hunt, Egg hunt with treats and treasures, Visits with the Easter Bunny, A snack and drink for each person, and more!


Pictures with the Easter Bunny: March 30th 9:00am – 1:00pm. Reading Public Museum. The Reading Public Museum will Open its doors early on Saturday, March 30 for pre-registered guests to visit with The Easter Bunny. Professional photos for families will be taken by Zerbe Photography. Guests will receive craft kits and treats from The Museum and other community sponsors while also having the opportunity to partake in a special Easter Scavenger Hunt. Registration is required for this event.


Wee Ones Egg Hunt: March 30th, 9:30am – 1:00pm. Paulus Farm Market. This event is limited to children ages 2 and under. This is just an enjoyable little egg hunt inside the big greenhouse for their first or second Easter holiday. We will have baby and toddler approved treats and treasures, plus some fun coupons for the adults. It’s a great time to get photos and enjoy a simple morning on the farm. Buy your ticket and arrive about 10 minutes early so you don’t miss the fun. Ticket includes the egg hunt – no Hayrides, Easter Bunny or craft activity – on this special day for the tiniest of tots. Each ticket is for one child. Adult caretakers do not need to purchase tickets.


Easter on the Farm: March 30th, 10:00am – 1:00pm. Hollabaugh Bros. Fruit Farm and Market. Easter Egg hunt in the apple orchard (egg hunt times every 20 minutes; divided by age groups). Photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. An Easter-themed scavenger hunt. Our “Fairy Tale Trail” story board in the orchards. Lawn games. Wagon Rides through the orchard. Lots of spring specials in the market: Easter plants, gift items, baked goods, quiches, coconut cakes, fresh produce and more! And a free kids’ ice cream!


Free Community Easter Egg Hunt: March 30th, 10:00am – 1:00pm. South Sixth Street Playground. Enjoy a free community Easter egg hunt, sponsored by the Cub Scout Pack 412. Save the date for this wonderful event!


Raptor Egg Hunt: March 30th, 10:00am – 1:30pm. Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. Come along for an “Egg”cellent adventure. Learn all about eggs and the creatures that lay them. Children will then search for “raptor” eggs hidden in the forest. All eggs are turned in for a prize! All ages will be hunting at the same time for eggs, please plan accordingly. Rain cancels. Ticket is for each child participating; parents do not need to purchase a ticket.


The Bunny Brunch: March 30th, 10:30am – 1:30pm. The Ballroom at Stevens School. Gather your loved ones and join us on Saturday, March 30th for Ecklin Events’ first ever Bunny Brunch in the Ballroom, catered by Proof of Lancaster.

Enjoy a delectable spread of Easter favorites, including fluffy french toast, baked honey ham, prime rib and colorful spring salads, amidst the enchanting ambience of the Stevens School Ballroom. Built in 1904 by C. Emlen Urban, the Ballroom is a stunning example of Beaux Arts and French Renaissance architecture and creates a fairytale atmosphere, right in the heart of Downtown Lancaster.

Kids will love getting lots of one-on-one time with the Easter Bunny himself, including an Easter-themed story read-aloud just for them. Themed Bunny busy bags and crafts will keep them happily entertained while the adults get time to sit back, relax, and enjoy a delicious holiday meal. A robust offering of upscale, family-friendly dishes will be available, catered by Proof of Lancaster (full menu below). Make it extra indulgent with an optional bottomless mimosa & bloody mary bar drink ticket.


Easter Egg Hunt: March 30th, 11:00am – 12:30pm. McCurdy’s Tree Farm. It’s time for the Easter Egg Hunt again! Bring the kids out to the Easter Egg Hunt at McCurdy’s Farm! As always, we will have lots of eggs, laughs, & fun!!!! Come out & get a picture with the Easter Bunny! AGES Newborn to 10! We will have designated areas for the various age groups, and will have a special needs area too!


Easter Bunny Brunch: March 30th, 11:00am – 1:00pm. Reading Public Museum. Join the Easter Bunny and Museum Educators for a special brunch at The Neag Planetarium! The brunch buffet is being provided by Kathryn’s Katering and will include both breakfast and lunch items for the whole family. While families are enjoying their meals, The Easter Bunny will be around for some impromptu meet and greets. No professional photos will be included with this event. Children will also receive an event exclusive craft while also being able to participate in an exclusive Easter Egg Hunt in our Arboretum.! The egg hunt will take place rain or shine. Registration is required for this event. SPACE is LIMITED.


Easter Weekend at the Museum: March 30th – 31st. Reading Public Museum. All Museum visitors will have the opportunity during public hours (11am-5pm) on Saturday and Sunday (March 30-31) to continue the tradition of celebrating Easter at The Museum. All children will be able to celebrate the holiday with an Easter themed scavenger hunt throughout The Museum. This is sure to be an EGGciting weekend at RPM! Registration is NOT required for this event.


Kids Easter Extravaganza: March 30th, 11:00am. Highpoint Ephrata. IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!!! You are invited to our FREE KIDS EASTER EXTRAVAGANZA. This event is for the whole community. For kids ages 2-12 years old. There will be TONS of candy for the candy scramble. Multiple prizes for each age group. AND… A CHANCE TO WIN THE GRAND PRIZE: A NINTENDO SWITCH! WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU!


Annual Easter Egg Hunt: March 30th, 12:00pm – 1:30pm. Shippensburg History Center. Join the Shippensburg History Center for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Families are encouraged to come in and participate in games, letter writing and the Stewart House Scavenger Hunt! Easter Egg Hunt starts at 1:00 PM! Several large prizes will be given out this year as we have done in past years. Please note children groups for this year are ages 12 and younger.


Easter Peep Cake Decorating Class: March 30th, 12:30pm – 3:30pm. Revive Café and Craft. Join us for a fun and interactive Easter Peep Cake Decorating Class at Revive Café and Craft ! Get ready to unleash your creativity & learn how to decorate this absolutely adorable Peep cake! Surprise everyone when you unveil it at your Easter gathering! This in-person event will take place at the cozy location of Revive Café and Craft on West Main Street, Quentin, PA, USA.
